Scores for the LEAP 2025 for last year's students in grades 3-8 are now posted in the parent command center. Score reports will be sent home by individual schools at the beginning of the school year.

Here is the High School Leap Schedule for 2023
Reminder: Bus stops and school drop off zones for high school and middle school will be taking place in a much darker setting with the change to daylight savings time. Please use extreme caution and be aware of your surroundings. Thanks.
Due to an electrical emergency in the area, NVHS will be dismissing early. Students who drive and car riders will dismiss at 10:00 a.m. and bus riders will dismiss at 10:30 a.m.

Congratulations to the girls soccer team for their 1-0 win over Tioga! They advance to the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Due to the cancellation of the NVHS basketball game today, the NV cheer camp performance has been rescheduled to FRIDAY, JANUARY 27. Participants get in the game free and should be there by 5:30 to pick up their t-shirt.

School for Friday is cancelled.
After consultation with the Vermilion OEP office and the local weather stations, Vermilion Parish Schools and Central Office will be closed on Wednesday, December 14th.
Forecast for 4-6 inches of rain and possibly flash floods along with wind gust of 50-70 mph have been projected. The Lake Charles Weather Service is also calling for a possibility of this being severe in the early morning hours when buses would be on the road.
While there is no exact science to figuring this out, we will tend to side with the experts and put the safety of our students and employees first.
