NVHS TAG students, Shelby Buroker, Aryelle Cormier, Naomi Cuccio, Cadence Foreman, Sydnee Richard, and Alyx Theriot, presented at the Teach Out Loud Conference on Saturday, March 9th, at UL. Their presentation focused on student engagement and teacher appreciation. The hands-on session included multiple classroom strategies that incorporate student discussion, collaboration, and movement. As well, the students shared how much students truly do appreciate their teachers. The sold out Teach Out Loud Conference included keynote speeches from principal/comedian Gerry Brooks and the Louisiana Principal of the Year, Tia Trahan.
